Und das klappte vor Installation von iTunes bei mir auch wunderbar.
Irgendwo ist das ein Knoten im Datenfluß.

Was mich interessiert, daß Sie vor dem Update mit iTunes und QT 7.0 ja funktioniert hat, und nun nicht mehr.
Wenn ich in den Browser MIME Settings bei "MP3 audio" ein Häckchen setze,
ist die FF Meldung mit dem Installieren von QT weg.
Der Sound auf dieser Page geht aber trotzdem nicht.

Seit ich iTunes installiert habe, läuft der Sound auf z.B. dieser Page nicht mehr:

Vor der Installation von iTunes hat es funktioniert.
Ich weiß, der Sinn dieser Page ist fragwürdig, aber ich suche nach dem Grund, warum seit Installation von iTunes da der Sound nicht mehr geht.
FF verlangt nach der Installation von Quicktime, welche ja schon vorhanden ist.
Deshalb vermute ich, etwas an den Einstellungen ändern zu müssen.
Nur was?
Für Hilfe danke ich im voraus.
