Nach knapp 2 Wochen funktioniert die Wiedergabe von YouTube-Videos jetzt schon wieder nicht mehr. Das Löschen von Cache, Cookies und allem was man unter "Neueste Chronik löschen..." auswählen kann bringt jetzt auch nix mehr. YouTube-Videos werden nicht mehr abgespielt. Eine Aktualisierung auf Firefox 28 hat da leider auch nicht geholfen.

Nachdem ich alle Cookies gelöscht und den Cache geleert habe, funktioniert die Wiedergabe von YouTube-Flash-Videos auf einmal wieder. Trotzdem weiß ich immer noch nicht den Grund für das Problem.Atalanttore

Weil nur gemeldet wird, dass ein Fehler aufgetreten ist.
Vielleicht schreibt Firefox (in Version 27.0.1 unter Kubuntu 13.10) auch irgendwo eine Logdatei mit weiteren Informationen zu aufgetretenen Fehlern.

wie finde ich heraus warum YouTube-Flash-Videos seit einigen Tagen in Firefox 27 nicht mehr abgespielt werden? Im abgesicherten Modus von Firefox wird beim Aufrufen irgendeines YouTube-Flash-Videos ein Fehler gemeldet.

Bei meinem Firefox 14 gibt es zwei Eingabefelder. Eines für die URL eines zum suchen. Soweit funktioniert auch beides, aber wenn ich einen Suchbegriff in die URL-Zeile anstatt in der Suchzeile eingebe, wird nicht über Google gesucht, sondern über Babylon Search. Ich vermute mal, dass irgend so ein unnützes Drecks-Addon ein paar Einstellungen verändert hat.
Wie kann ich wieder Google zu meiner absolten Standard-Suchmaschine machen?

Mithrandir: Tatsächlich. In der "Fomular-Historie" war mein großgeschriebener Benutzername für SourceForge gespeichert. Habe den jetzt gelöscht und nun gehts wieder.

Wie erwartet funktioniert das Anmelden bei SourceForge mit anderen Browsern (Internet Explorer 9, Chrome) problemlos.
Nochmal kurz: Wisst ihr wie man das automatische Großschreiben von Benutzernamen in Firefox ausschaltet oder nicht? Firefox soll meinen Benutzernamen einfach so lassen wie ich ihn auch eingegeben habe. Diese leidigen Automatismen gehen mir ziemlich auf den Senkel.

Ich verwende Firefox 12. Der Browser funktioniert eigentlich auch ganz gut.
Nur beim Anmelden bei SourceForge gibt es Probleme, da Firefox meint meinen Benutzernamen immer groß schreiben zu müssen, obwohl bei SourceForge Benutzernamen immer mit einem Kleinbuchstaben beginnen müssen.
Bei den Hinterwäldlern (im Jahr 2012 sollten großgeschriebene Benutzernamen IMHO schon möglich sein) gibt es bei einem großgeschriebenen Benutzernamen folgende Fehlermeldung:CodeOnly lowercase letters, and digits are allowed in usernames.Wie kann ich Firefox anweisen für rückständige Webseiten meinen eingegebenen Benutzernamen nicht zu verändern?
