Mozilla today offers the first release candidate of Firefox 29.0.1, an incremental update for the latest stable version of the browser released just last week.
Launched on April 29, Firefox 29 Stable (or Final) received an all-new customization mode that makes it easy to personalize your web experience to access the features you use the most, a new look for tabs (that many people seem to dislike), the ability to set up Firefox Sync by creating a Firefox account, and much more.
Firefox 29.0.1 is the first incremental update for the 29 Stable branch. It includes such changes as: disable seer, fix crash in java, rename Send Tab activity, re-enable Send Tab on Beta, and don't let invalid sessionstore.js files break sessionstor.
Nothing out of the ordinary for people who are familiar with the underlying code of the web browser, but certainly gibberish for regular folks who only know the program’s interface, not the nuts and bolts.
As usual, the download links await below. Note that RC 1 doesn’t mean the build is final. Rather, it’s under development to eventually reach final status. The latest stable/final build available remains Firefox 29.
