Die "Firefox aktualisiert sich nicht" Hinweise von Andreas habe ich alle abgearbeitet - ohne Erfolg.

Hab ich gemacht, leider gelingt es mir nicht, das Ergabnis, das ich kopiert habe, in den Editor einzufügen ("Einfügen" ist nicht hinterlegt, Ctrl-v tut´s nicht).

Lasse die Funde löschen und zwar alle! Dazu startest du AdwCleaner, führst erneut einen Scan durch und klickst anschließend auf den Löschbutton. Der Rechner wird danach neu gestartet. Sicherheitshalber abermals einen Scan durchführen und falls etwas gefunden wird, wie gehabt hier das Ergebnis einstellen.
Falls es keine neuen Funde gibt, kannst du AdwCleaner deinstallieren [Blockierte Grafik: http://i39.tinypic.com/2hfuwkm.png]

Hat leider nix gebracht, FF aktualisiert sich nicht, dafür ist jetzt der Sitzungsmanager verschwunden unter Extras\... :traurig:

Keine Ahnung, was dieses Hotfix bewirkt (ich hoffe, nichts bedrohliches :? ), - jedenfalls hat sich FF auf 49.0.1 aktualisiert.

Das Hotfix-Add-on bewirkt genau das: dass du Updates erhältst. Nutzer ohne Hotfix erhalten kein Update. Das wird normalerweise aber automatisch installiert und sollte nicht notwendig sein, von Hand zu installieren.

scheinbar landet das hotfix addon nicht bei leuten die automatische updates deaktiviert haben und bloß manuell nach updates suchen...

Gibt es dazu ein Bugzilla-Ticket? Das würde ich nämlich gerne verfolgen.

nein, es gibt kein eigenes ticket dazu (das mir bekannt wäre) - so dürfte der hotfix mechanismus halt grundlegend konzipiert sein...

Kann ich bestätigen, war auch auf 47.0.1 und hatte manuelle Updates eingestellt.
Keine Updates gefunden, nach dem (manuellen) Hotfix geht es nun.

Möchte noch etwas ausholen, weil ich folgendes merkwürdig finde:

Zunächst, ich nutze FF Portable (PortableApps) und vor jedem Upgrade auf eine neue (Voll)Version mache ich ein Backup und habe auch noch alle gespeichert.
Da ich auch keine Updates für FF47.0.1 erhielt forschte ich etwas nach.

Habe ein älteres FF Portable Backup genommen (FF43) und den Update Prozess gestartet.
Updates gingen hoch bis auf FF47.0.1 (konnte das gleiche Verhalten mit der nicht portablen Version feststellen).
Dann keine Updates mehr.

Nun habe ich die manuelle FF Portable 48 exe genommen um zu updaten.
Auf jetzt FF48.0 gingen auch wieder die Updates hoch bis auf FF49.

Scheint also ein Problem bei FF47.0.1 in Kombination mit deakt. automatischen Updates zu sein...
