ff ohne erweiterungen starten im safe mode
start-programme-mozilaa firefox-...

aber warum?

Extras -> Erweiterungen

Verschwinden sie auch nach einem Neustart von Firefox nicht?
Wenn das der Fall ist, beende mal Firefox und such dann im Prozess-Manager (Strg+Alt+Enf - "Prozesse") nach "firefox.exe" und, wenn es diesen Prozess gibt, beende ihn über "Prozess beenden". Dann sollten die Erweiterungen nach dem nächsten Firefox-Neustart weg sein.

Wie passiert das eigentlich manchmal, dass beim Beenden von Firefox zwar die Fenster geschloßen werden, die firefox.exe aber nicht?
Und wenn das bei mir der Fall ist dann startet Firefox immer mit dem Profil Manager und das starten mit dem gewünchten Profil funktioniert nicht.

Neuinstallation hilft da nichts.. (außer du löschst manuell den Profilordner)
Mach einfach ein neues Firefox-Profil, dann sind alle Erweiterungen (und auch alle anderen Einstellungen) weg.

Unter Known Bugs findet man weiterhin:
