Die Kommentare zur Version 3.0.4 auf der Erweiterungsseite sprechen für sich; mit dem Einbau der Werbung fielen die Bewertungen ganz klar in den Keller.

Ich habe jetzt erst mal auf Version 3.0.3 downgegraded.
Wird eine frühere Version einer Erweiterung per MR Tech's Local Install vom Update ausgenommen, und wird die Erweiterung dann deinstalliert und später eine neuere Version wieder reinstalliert, steht man vor folgendem Problem:
Local Install: Deaktiv. d. Updateüberprüfg. f. Erweiterungen

Thanks to some of you for defending me, but the ads really are a shame and I have already submitted the next release which contains no ads. The only reason I put ads rather than a donate link is because I figure that the ads are free while donations cost you, the users, money. Plus, getting the money from online to cash has complications due to my situation. A friend of mine had given me the ads and told me he would take care of everything with tem so I used those ads.

Für die werbebehaftete Version 3.0.4 gibt es zwar ein Style für die Erweiterung Stylish, das die Werbung ausschalten soll, da es aber anscheinend nicht bei allen Nutzern funktioniert, installiere ich es mir auch nicht zumal ja eine neue werbefreie Version bei addons.mozilla.org in der Warteschleife ist.
Bin beeindruckt von der offenen ehrlichen Diskussion in dem ImageBot Thread.

This is a fantastic extension, I highly recommend it. Took me a minute to figure out how to log in to my ImageShack account, but once I sorted that, everything was awesome.
I unfortunately have to share the sentiments of many other commenters here and say that at first, when I installed the 3.0.4 version, I was appalled and instantly turned off by the blaring, blinking, blinding ads. I uninstalled it immediately and came directly to these pages to read the comments and find a work around. Failing that, I was going to reinstall it and try AdBlock. I instead installed the latest version of ImageBot *without* the ads, and now everything is great. [...]

The next release will include a bunch of new features including:
uploading a picture copied to the clipboard,
rightclicking a picture on a web page and choosing upload,
photobucket synchronization, perhaps..
Besonders auf die angekündigte Möglichkeit des Bilderuploads von Webseiten per Rechtsklick freue ich mich.

Mit der soeben erschienenen Version ImageBot 3.1.0 funktioniert auch der Upload aus dem Kontextmenü oder eines Hintergrundbilds, ebenso wie aus der Zwischenablage.
Funktionalität der Thumbnail-Galerie jetzt auch für ebay.
