I am using Gmail as my mail system, but I am even happier now with it since I transfer my mails to my outlook system, therefore I post my mails now from MS Outlook. However, in some cases (e.g. when I want to send a mail directly from a portal in Firefox) Mozilla offers me to send this mail from gmail. Where can I define to use Outlook as the mail system in such cases as well ?

If Outlook is your default mailer, add this line to your User.js:
user_pref("network.protocol-handler.external.mailto", true);No, it's not a hidden file, may be it simply doesn't exist yet. In this case create a User.js file in your profile folder using an ordinary ASCII editor. Please read the Mozilla KnowlegeBase article I referred to before.
