I question whether Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin

is compatible with FF3? It was released well before FF3. There were issues with it in Minefield (in that it didn't really work). Bug 362603 – Illegal Operation In Plug-in, Windows Media Player Plug-in DLL (WMP plugin, embedded, crash, JavaScript disabled).
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362603#c21
(Now I did not look at it extensively in Minefield at the time, have not looked at it since (in respect to FF3), & would not know if it has been discussed in the FF forums?)I would expect no problems with WMPFP with FF2/SeaMonkey 1.
Hah! Guess what. I crashed too. Let me see if I can do it again.
Code: Select all
Faulting application seamonkey.exe, version 1.8.20080.61701, faulting module gklayout.dll, version 1.8.20080.61701, fault address 0x00099705
(Tried to duplicate it, but wasn't able to. It's been a LONG time since I've had a crash in SeaMonkey.)
Appears the plugin (WMPFP) does work in FF3. Though I'm not getting it to crash either, regardless of NoScript usage or not.
Weiteres testen brachte folgende Resultate:
