Firefox Sync funktioniert gar nicht

So ist es.
Ich habe am PC mein Synckonto so eingestellt, dass alle anderen Geräte die Einstellungen und Tabs, etc. des Desktop PC bekommen sollen.

Dann am Laptop den Synccode eingegeben und ausgewählt, dass die Einstellungen des Laptops mit denen des Desktop PCs kombiniert werden sollen. (Falls ich mal am Laptop Tabs offen habe, die ich noch brauche, dass sie nicht mit denen des Desktop PC überschrieben werden)

Soweit so gut, abgewartet , nichts passiert. Am Laptop auf jetzt synchronisieren gedrückt. Erst pasiert nix, dann kommt unten eine Leiste mit ner Fehlermeldung. "unbekannter Fehler"

Ahja,
das wichtigste wären für mich sowieso die Tabs und Panorama-Tab-Gruppen. Lesezeichen wäre jetzt nicht so schlimm.
Komisch, ich hatte schon mal zu Firefox 6 Zeiten den Firefox vom Desktop mit meinem Android Handy gesynct (nur Tabs) und das ging Problemlos.

Aber mit dem Laptop bekomme ich es wie erwähnt nicht hin. Irgendwie doof, gibt es eine Drittanbieterlösung?

Dann habe ich das gegooglet.
Bin auf den ersten Treffer, die Mozilla Addon Seite.

Und dort steht als oberste Bewertung eben, der von mir zitierte Kommentar. Ich kann es ja mal testen, sollte ich dann Hänger haben, weiß ich ja woher es kommt.

So ich hab jetzt Xmarks Sync auf dem Desktop PC drauf, wie sage ich dem jetzt, dass am PC nichts verändert werden darf?
Also dass es immer nur in eine Richtung geht. Nämlich PC->Notebook.
(die Syncronisation von Lesezeichen habe ich aus. Es soll eigtl. nur die Tabs synchronisieren)
